Machhlighar
CONCEPT
Call it a mockery at humankind or anything. Isn't it strange that we humans are providing abode to animal like fish which do not actually need one.
Fishes are like free animals. They do have a defined territory but don't have a house or nest as such. But for our personal interests (amusement in this case and probably to some extent our desire to explore the world) we have provided a "Ghar" to fishes.Hence the name "Machhlighar". I am sorry if I am not glorifying the human spirit..the spirit to explore, the desire to be supreme, but what I am stating through my architecture is a real truth, a mockery at humankind.

ZONING CONCEPT
This analysis describes the propensity of a person accessing any point on the site as a function of its distance from the access roads. This analysis assumes that there exist no barriers of any kind on the site.
The other drawing describes the locations of facilities as per our accesibility gradient analysis and the degree of access required for the respective facilities.

ELEVATIONS
You can have a look at the anterior and dorsal side of the fish.

PLAN

SECTION
The aerial view was taken for Calcutta city at 6:30 a.m. in the morning of 21st June 2005. The daylight analysis was done on 3dStudio Max.

SOME VIEWS
Here are some views. You can see the fish bleeding (Red color of the floor symbolises blood) Its like a cold fish brutally murdered and left dead on the shore.

o I can't see it anywhere in your design. And I don't agree with your philosophy either.
Man is also a free animal, a free thinker. Then why make homes for him to stay in. Curb his ambitions. Curb his life. He requires a home for belongingness, for support as do a lot of other living creatures. Think again.
o nice sheets.. dude.. and you are da only one to get a perfect macchli i think.. but is this world that perfect.. think again!!
o Don't worry about Mary Morgan. Use bhi din bhar koi kaam nahin meri tareh..!!
o But overall.. gud design.. 3dmax renders.. gud gud.. dunnno when am I gonna do that..!! nice work.. I still remember your Information centre...
GET GOING LEE!!!
the renderings are gud .. i forgive u for green water .. 'coz i know it wud have takem so much of time to render these images ..
didnt clearly understood the concept .. but everything looked ..sooood .. except for the plan ... u cud have derived analogies .. abstraction ..kinda .. instead of .. "look boss u said aquarium .. and here's ur machhi ..." :)) .. take it lightly ... but yes the spaces came out decent enough .. at least it looks so ..
wat came first? the concept or the design?
